Asparagus with berries (yeah, I know, I should probably replace it) in early winter.   Massive growth by self-seeding giant parsleys (foreground), an extremely rampant and prickly berry (mid-left) and banksia roses (back left).   Banksia roses doing what banksia roses tend to do .. flower magnificently for about 3 weeks.   This is an extremely vigorous bramble - it's one of Logan, Dew, or Boysen - not entirely sure, but if you get 'em during their peak of ripeness (there's about a 12 hour window) they are to die for.
The VBO, from the NW corner - upon arrival (somewhat overgrown - that's chest-height Rhodes grass on the right).   The VBO, from the NW corner - after an hour with the whipper snipper.  The VBO looking way too green for (a) January.
Filtering on: the VBO
