Because of the heavy rains they were having, one of the bridges closer to town had been briefly submerged, and a few of the sluice gates on this dam were opened to reduce the volume of water it was holding. Of course, everyone just stopped their bikes, cars, and cows mid-bridge to have a good ol' gander at the thing.  A dam very near Pune.
