A big goanna eating a little goanna. I never knew. I chased the smaller one - maybe 80cm long - away from our chicken shed. It was a pretty lethargic chase, but a serious WTF / shite thineself response to the larger goanna (something over 2 metres) appearing blindingly fast from behind a tree, snatching this smaller one, and then scuttling about 8 metres up this tree ... where they stayed like this for some hours. No, I don't know how it ended, but I imagine not well for the younger one.   A big goanna eating a little goanna. I never knew.
