Another small, and insanely cute monkey living in Singapore Zoo. These ones weren't behind any fences - they just lived in a small treehouse near the path, and got very excited when I got my camera bag out .. and then much less excited when I took a camera, rather than, say, a banana from it.   Another small, and insanely cute monkey living in Singapore Zoo. These ones weren't behind any fences - they just lived in a small treehouse near the path, and got very excited when I got my camera bag out .. and then much less excited when I took a camera, rather than, say, a banana from it.  Periyar National Park also has a lot of seemingly cute, but actually very crafty and occasionally quite nasty monkeys. I saw one steal someone's icecream .. which was kinda disappointing for both the parties involved, as it happened (ice cream melts remarkably quickly, on a stone floor, in tropical India). I would have taken a photograph, but that would have been insensitive.
