By which, of course, I mean that up the farm we usually only see death adders, and they usually only grow to about a metre, and the occasional juvenile eastern brown.   Ahh, rangas - that weird evolutionary throwback that remains a mystery to us all.

We were so pleased to be having breakfast this close to a whole family of them - it was a dream come true.  And in the background you can see the two orangutans.   The primate rangas, though, come across as sage and serene.
