'Donnisens gelbe' aka 'Knorpel-Kirsche' - truly superb - in our top five - friendly yellow colour that the birds are happy to ignore.   Panoramic shot (90 degrees) showing the length of the cherry tree rows - this was an area they'd put aside to growing their top 6 or so varieties, two rows of each - so it was especially popular with the tourists. I think the sheer volume of fruit produced meant there was plenty of fruit safe from the birds.   'Napoleon - clone v1010' - quite excellent variety, but not as good as the v1014. Seriously.   'Napoleon - clone v1014' - superb variety - definitely in our top five - and curiously measurably tastier than the v1010 variety.
