A newly (ish) planted section for apples - usually they plant out at 3 metres between plants, 3 metres between rows - they've gone for about 1 metre spacing between the trees here, so perhaps M27 rootstock?   Panorama showing a 90 degree view of the plum orchard, with masses of not-quite-ripe plums on the tree in the foreground.   'Napoleon - clone v1010' - quite excellent variety, but not as good as the v1014. Seriously.   'Napoleon - clone v1014' - superb variety - definitely in our top five - and curiously measurably tastier than the v1010 variety.
