The wooden doors provided protection from frost, and were taken off during summer.   The giant bee at the Eden Project, biomes in the background, and annoying electrical wires in between.   Alliums of some sort.   This shot gives a reasonable idea of the scale of the biomes.

The structure in the foreground, slightly right of center, is the semi-famous art installation / statue made of all the electronic & mechanical 'waste' that one western-society human is likely to produce in their life.

The oh-so-very cool cafeteria at the Eden Project.  A giant hedge, demonstrating the precise combined length of the gardener's ladder and hedge-trimmer.
