An amazing model of the mines at Geevor.  It shows the underground workings in the area - the blue line (visible in the far distance) marks sea level - so only about 50 metres are above sea level - but these mines go 640 metres deep.  They also extend 1.6km out under the ocean.   Indeed.  A rocky belt (I'm sure that's the technical term) at Geevor Tin Mines.
