A bee bumbling around on what looks like an allium (despite it being the wrong time of year) flower.   Greenwich Foot Tunnel - opened around 1902, connecting the Docklands to Greenwich.  Lifts installed in 1904 lasted for 88 years.  Lifts installed in 1992 lasted for 17 years (they're still in the bewilderingly lengthy process of replacing them now).  The phrase 'They don't make 'em like they used to' seems appropriate here.
  The Maritime Museum at Greenwich - but this shot was primarily to capture the fascinating cloud formation about the building in the middle - a very large circular something-or-other going on here.   Greenwich Park in late autumn.

We had a small amount of snow on Tuesday only - and this photo was taken on Sunday.

( Observatory web site: http://www.nmm.ac.uk/places/royal-observatory )  The adults out with their various stolen plastic fast-food trays and other ersatz toboggans, all pretending they were screaming and giggling as they slid down the slopes just because the kids wanted to.
